The objective of setting up this company is to supply DEF/AUS32 to Transporters for their first fill requirement. As such, BR Lubes has already commissioned the DEF/AUS32 manufacturing plant in Govindpura Industrial Area , Bhopal MP. The idea behind local manufacturing is to be able to service customers better as also to provide cost benefits. BR Lubes is marketing its product in MP & CG in the name of “BR BLUE”. The plant has been imported from China and is being used all over the world. This plant has been patented by New Blue Company is certified by German Automobile Association "VDA" to produce meeting ISO 22241 standards.
Currently, DEF/AUS32 is required by the majority of heavy duty diesel vehicles (trucks, buses and coaches) purchased on or after April 2017.

Social consciousness towards environmental pollution with Government pressures on meeting the latest emission norms has led diesel vehicle manufacturers to adopt innovative technologies, besides improving engine engineering.
Effective April 2010, 13 major cities in India have been upgraded to meet BS IV (Euro IV) emission norms, while BS III (Euro III) has been introduced in the rest of the country. BS IV emission standards mainly focus on reduction of particulate matter and nitrous oxides (NOx) in the exhaust flue gas of vehicles.
At present, two technologies are competing to fulfill the Euro IV pollutant emission standards for commercial vehicles: cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and SCR exhaust gas after-treatment.
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) is an exhaust after-treatment system that injects a small amount of AdBlue into the exhaust which, in the presence of a catalyst, turns NOx into harmless nitrogen and water vapour. This is a highly effective way to reduce harmful emissions to the extremely low levels specified by Euro emission norms. This reaction takes place downstream of the engine in the exhaust system and is known as “After-Treatment”, thus allowing the engine to be tuned for maximum efficiency for an estimated fuel savings of 5-10 per cent.
Commercial vehicle OEMs are evaluating both the EGR and SCR technologies to ascertain the most suitable technology for the Indian market. Globally, most of the OEMs have preferred the SCR technology for reasons like improvements in overall system efficiency, fuel economy improvement, increased power density and lower heat rejection, service interval improvement (oil drain - low soot), and lower maintenance costs.
DEF/AUS32/AdBlue is the fuel for the SCR technology and is a critical component to meet the emission standards. It is a non-toxic, crystal-clear, synthetically produced solution. It is used as a means of reduction for SCR systems of diesel-powered vehicles.
DEF/AUS32/ AdBlue is carried on the vehicle in an additional tank. The dosage for trucks is about 5% of the diesel consumption. This is exactly calculated by the electronic system and injected into the exhaust gas main.
